May 1-3, 2026
Started in 1970, the annual Robert Unger ISI Skating Competition, formerly known as the Mississippi Valley District Invitational Team Competition (MVDC), is the oldest continuously running figure skating competition endorsed by the Ice Sports Industry (ISI). In 1977, it became the first international ISI skating competition.

A Little History
The history of recreational competition continues to build as each new generation participates in innovations across the ISI program. The Robert Unger philosophy of "something for everyone" is reflected in the competition format, and events such as Creative Figures and Free Dance were developed and proven here.
Robert Unger recalled: "The first competition had practically no rules except good sportsmanship, ethics, and the attitude that this is not the last day of your life!"
